My mum is very frail and I'm having to do a 500 mile round trip once or twice a month to support Mum & Dad. It's Mum's 87th birthday next month, so I've made her the Botanical Dried Flower Centrepiece today.

We went to a Lego event today and bought a few new sets

@JaceLancs were you at bricktastic in Manchester? I went last year with ds and we had a great time. Those sets look great 😃

@LegoTherapy no we were at Aintree today - did the Manchester one a few months ago and Aintree was about twice the size in terms of sellers 😉

@JaceLancs I meant to get tickets for it but completely forgot. Good job really as my son has been ill all week and wouldn't have been well enough. Hope it was good!

@coastergirl it was really good - I could have spent loads but not a great time with upcoming birthdays and holidays

I'm not sure if it's still available, as it was reduced one day in Waitrose last year. It did keep me busy, so I could sit with Mum watching what she was up to. I might have gone freestyle on a few bits!

My latest. It looks good but not very challenging. I prefer the Lego Technic but I still enjoyed it.

I finished Concorde last night (it might have been 1am). Loved this build. When you twist the tail, both sets of landing gear lower. It's absolutely huge too.

Has anyone heard anything about a GWP for March? The only one I can find is the bunny surprise of last Easter.
The French cafe is out on Saturday and Ds has his eye on a dragon that's also released on Saturday.

That reminds me, should I have had a GWP with concorde? It was £169.99 although I had a £60 gift card and £18 of Insiders points which I redeemed against the cost.

The French cafe is released tomorrow and o might go into the big ugly smelly city to buy it. Ds has birthday money to spend. Saturdays and the big ugly smelly city are not great though.

Hmm. My GWP didn't arrive either. I could have sworn that there was one when I placed the order. The current gifts are all linked to specific ranges like Friends.
