What’s pissing you off today? (Lighthearted)

Just that.

I’m pissed off because I can’t get a roofer to sort my roof out. I’ve contacted around 7 of them. 1 came out, gave me some bollocks and never returned. Two further have come out, promised a quote ‘tonight’ and not heard a thing since. That was 10 days ago. The rest just didn’t reply to my messages.

I’ve woken up very irritated by this.

I'm not very light hearted about it, but DP's attitude to the mess contractors are making while we have work done. Plasterer came yesterday to do a number of small jobs. I was going out so showed DP where the dust sheets were. He duly handed them to the plasterer who didn't use them. I have lost count of the times I have said to DP that we need to cover things and not rely on tradespeople to do so. Thankfully I had covered the brand new bath myself before I left.

I had a small whitehead by my nose which was just mocking me, as I couldn’t remove it. I was determined to get it! However, as a result of attempting this, I have given myself impetigo 😫.

I’ve bought a private prescription for antibiotic cream, which wasn’t cheap, and I’m not having to isolate due to being contagious (wasted weekend). Plus, I’m having to battle with keeping a plaster on my face, as I just know I will touch it by accident. To top it all off, I still wasn’t able to remove the whitehead 😠.

I just cleaned out the hamster and missed the bin bag and spilt dirty sawdust all over the floor 😡

I bought a spaghetti squash (£3(!) at M&S but they are so hard to find). I made it with some sausage,kale and parmesan and DS has decided magic pasta is yucky before even trying it.

I forgot to order a chicken in the online shop for today’s dinner, had a bracing walk to Tesco to get one and now can’t be arsed to cook it! I did buy wine too though!

My cat has done a protest pee on my bed because I've gone out too much this week which is making me late to go out today. Love him from his nose to his tail but have had to have very stern words this morning.

I'm trying to move sim provider. O2 making it as difficult as possible.

Totally sympathise with this. My darling son-in-law changed my provider for me this week - he was getting frustrated and said 'they don't make it easy'!!!!!

had to get up a few times during the night as my cat was complaining loudly ( she’s 15). Still don’t know why, possibly because it was too cold to sleep outside. She’s bouncy as anything this morning. I am not.

Sympathy! I wonder if it’s the same virus. Hoping it passes quickly.

A combination of the start of a cold, perimenopause and expecting my period in the next couple of days means I am annoyed by simply everything. It's best if nobody talks to me today so maybe a good thing it's Sunday and I can just stay at home

I'm doing a "dry January" in October.

A potential vinted buyer is haggling beyond what's normal. I've been clear. Now she's replied like some sort of used car salesman, "what do we need to do to get this deal done?".

I'm cleaning house today and dusting around the small pile of jobs I haven't managed to just complete over the past week.

I do Amazon Flex on the side for some extra cash and I'm pissed off with how many people don't have clear number or name markers on their houses, or just don't have them at all. We do not have magic GPS, if you want your shit in a timely manner, number your house clearly!

DS 18 is very annoying this morning. Not involved in household chores at all. Never has been. Constantly on the verge of just about to make a sandwich whenever he's asked to do something. Then sits down and double screens with tv and phone. He's coming to the tip with me later whether he wants to or not. I've also been asking him to take old books to the charity shop. Avoided that, too.
I am feeling more than slightly "triggered" ATM. 😖

My dog is nagging for his walk. I’m going to take him as soon as I’ve finished my green tea but obviously I can’t explain that to him. He keeps pawing me, just give me a minute!

Another one with a virus. Mine is covid, and I'm struggling a bit. I love to watch DD play her team game on a Sunday and I don't feel well enough

Woken up by the sound of drilling from next door, come downstairs to find holes through to our side and some gunk oozing out… they seem reasonable so sure they will pay to rectify damage but such a hassle to have to sort out.

DH sleep routine is out of kilter, so he's now asleep on the sofa. Not that I want to go out or do anything, I'm more annoyed that when he's tired, he can fall asleep - whereas I just get more tired, I can't drift/nap like he does!

I'm also annoyed that the toilet is (hopefully was) leaking again. Seems like it's every couple of years. We cannot get a plumber in because it'll turn into a huge flooring and toilet replacement job rather than a piping fix/bodge.

Been on holiday for two weeks. Came home and local cats have used my back garden as a poo parlour.

Did my nails before I went away with some of that dip nail stuff. Now I am left with disgusting remnants of it on my nails that won't come off and my hands look like Freddie Kreuger's.

Same here. Not menopausal either so can't even use that excuse 🤭
