I think she's been performing a lot with the residencies even if she hasn't been in the public eye as much, I saw a quote from her a few weeks ago that implied she's feeling a bit burnt out and that she wasn't even singing around the house any more. A break sounds sensible. She never has to work again, why wouldn't she take time out.

I quite like that she and Taylor Swift have such polar opposite attitudes to how they run their careers, and yet they're both phenomenally successful. Good luck to them.

She's a successful female. She doesn't actually have to do anything to attract criticism. Same with Taylor Swift. Her music may not be to your taste, but people are all too keen to tear successful women down in a way you don't tend to see with men.

Made her millions, co-parents her son somewhere warm and sunny, generally inoffensive and uncontroversial. Great voice. Good luck to her.

I’ve met Adele. She was quite the opposite of rude or arrogant. It doesn’t surprise me in the least she will be ducking out to become an ‘npc’ for a while, enjoy her earnings and family life and let a younger generation have their moment in the spotlight.

If I had made millions you best believe I'd spend as much time as I could with my family and enjoying my life! She doesn't need to make music constantly and can afford to take the time off.

You said you only liked the first album and a few songs from the second, so who cares? Her fans can listen to the songs they already enjoy and I'm sure they'll welcome her return if/when she does.

I'm genuinely a it taken aback by how much anger you seem to have over someone else's life, telling her to fuck off and all sorts when it doesn't affect you one bit.
