Evap line or pregnancy?

Posting here for traffic. Name changed for obvious reasons.

took a Superdrug test yesterday, one day before missed period. Waited 2 minute no.

Later saw a line I assumed evap’ no period still and then read the pack again that said wait 5 minutes.

Should I buy another test? Or are we thinking evap?

Looks positive to me I’d buy another test to be sure

Do you think? I took it about 7am it was negative. I seen it again about 11ish. That’s why I thought evap line. That photograph was from tonight. Gosh it would be so exciting! Wish I had read the package and waited the 5 minutes now 🤦🏻‍♀️

I would take another test. I’ve personally never gotten a line that wasn’t a real line.

I found the Superdrug tests took a lot longer than 5mins to show a positive. I binned mine as I thought they were negative at around 10DPO. Fished them out hours later and had a positive. Bought a different brand and tested a few days later and it was positive within seconds. It’s likely to be positive but test with another brand as well to be 100%

It could be positive but they can also go like this when left more than an hour or two to dry....the only way to know if do another one! Good luck!

This particular type of test are apparently notoriously bad for evaps. The line also looks quite thin and you'd likely have a dye stealer if af is 3 weeks late. Do you have another brand you could try? Xx

Not yet no, we’ve been at an event this morning so haven’t had chance to pick one up yet. Was going to get one later but thinking of waiting until tomorrow morning to test. I’m one day late today.

Get a better one, like a FRER.

@NameChangeOmMN yes FRER is first response. If is now 1 day late though, any brand should be fine. Since you're not testing early, you'd probably be okay to test today if you can't wait till tomorrow! Maybe after holding and not drinking for a few hours, to make sure urine not too dilute. Superdrug tests are dreadful. I found the cheapie strips more reliable than those - once I had a line I bought a posh one to confirm!
