I’m so sick of hit and miss recipes. Can people post recipes that they have tried and tested. A couple things recently did not work and it’s put me off trying new recipes. The waste of effort and money is so disheartening. Literally for anything as long as it works. Hoping for some low risk inspiration.

For me:

This sounds gross, but trust me it's gorgeous.
Forgive me for no measurements or temperatures, I'm a bit of a relaxed cook.

Molly's Chicken

Line the bottom of an ovenproof dish with lightly cooked asparagus (frozen or canned/bottled will do as well)
Lay raw chicken breasts on the asparagus.
Make a sauce using one can of condensed mushroom soup and the same volume(use the can to measure) of double cream, mixed well together with a heaped teaspoonful of hot curry powder.
Pour it all over the chicken, then cook in the oven on a medium heat till bubbling and brown on top. Nice served with mash or rice.
