Help me with this TV show!

It's not an AIBU but please help me!

I have the theme tune for a tv show in my head and I can remember what it is.

Space Cowboy (or whatever its called!) by the Steve Miller Band sounds vaguely like it. I think it's a lighthearted American show - probably from the last 25 years.

I thought it might be The Office US but it's not. I don't think it's a long theme tune and I think it might be the end credits. But it might be the opening theme tune.

I ask in desperation as its driving me crazy! I know my description is patchy but maybe something will help jog me?

There's a Google app that you can hum into and it tried to recognise your song. I've used it once with success! Maybe try that?

It's the rhythm of it, rather than the words but I don't think I'm being especially helpful with my description.

I’m sure you are right and the OP means The Joker. Confusingly, Steve Miller Band did also have a song called Space Cowboy as well, which they are referencing in The Joker!

I did the Google listen thing and it said no match found.

I've scoured lists of TV shows and not found it yet. I may be wrong about it being American but I'm sure it might be. It's like a modern family or us office type show - possibly! Arrggh!
