Help me with this TV show!

It's not an AIBU but please help me!

I have the theme tune for a tv show in my head and I can remember what it is.

Space Cowboy (or whatever its called!) by the Steve Miller Band sounds vaguely like it. I think it's a lighthearted American show - probably from the last 25 years.

I thought it might be The Office US but it's not. I don't think it's a long theme tune and I think it might be the end credits. But it might be the opening theme tune.

I ask in desperation as its driving me crazy! I know my description is patchy but maybe something will help jog me?

It's quite a short theme song I think. I checked the us office to make sure and it's possibly quite similar. A mix of the steve miller song and the office - possibly.

Quite a light show I think. I don't watch anything violent or thriller like.

I'll let you all know if I figure it out. I know it'll just come to me eventually!

@historyinthemaking I've just got it today!!

I am an avid watcher of the West Wing and it's actually music they play near the end of an episode.

For anyone who knows the West Wing, it's at the end of an episode during the Santos presidential campaign. I think the one where he does his annual military service and flies a jet.

So not a theme tune or end credit song at all but I'm so pleased to have remembered, it's been bugging me for such a long time!
