Keep quiet!

stellablueblue · 22/07/2024 00:08

That is just pink pink really.
Although I suppose middle names are rarely used.

Pink is the surname. Which is totally outing now I realise. But they think Cerise would be sweet purely because of the surname.

You could suggest

Lime Green
Cornflower Blue

CelesteCunningham · 22/07/2024 00:11

I'm guessing they're doing the "tell everyone a ridiculous name so they stop asking and don't criticise the real name" thing.

PiggieWig · 22/07/2024 00:12

Yikes! Is it not enough that she will be Baby Pink?

Cerys?

Lilysienna1 · 22/07/2024 00:12

Other names on the shortlist :
Lily Pink
Violet Pink
Rose Pink

I don’t think they’re thinking this through very well.

I really hope so. If Olivia Pink is born, I’ll be overjoyed 😅

Their plan is working already. Wink

BearFacedCheek · 22/07/2024 00:15

Well it’s memorable!
Suggest Margaret Pink as an alternative!

BearFacedCheek · 22/07/2024 00:15

Just for something totally different

Ushion Pink.

For those rare occasions when it's called out Surname Forename.

😉

randomchap · 22/07/2024 00:19

Is the child male or female?

paisley256 · 22/07/2024 00:24

What about Polly Pink or Peggy Pink? I mean if she's keen on Pink then these sound kinda cute.

brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr · 22/07/2024 00:25

They must name it “Schminky” Pink.

Oops just realised Pink is the surname, I didn't read properly 🙈 but Polly or Peggy does sound cute.

That poor kid is going to rename herself Mary when she's 12, and disown her parents Grin

MirandaBlu · 22/07/2024 01:08

Barbie Pink
Inthe Pink
Parlour Pink
Simla Pink
Tickle Pink

If they're serious, is it possible to persuade them that a little joke or "sweet" reference is OK, but not as the baby's main name, as she after all will not be a baby forever? E.g., Olivia Mary Cerise Pink; the "Cerise" will rarely be used.
