Pink is a common surname in this area with all sorts of weird and wonderful first names. People probably wouldn’t bat an eyelid at Cerise Pink.

I had friends who wanted Susannah (her) and Natalie (him) and their surname was West. Once I pointed out she would be Nat West then Susannah she was! (ps Susannah is a replacement to avoid outing the parents) but Natalie was his choice.

My ex husband’s surname is a colour, and we got nothing but jokes about this sort of thing when I was pregnant!

Whereas Kayne West and his ex wife seem to have thought that “North West” was a reasonable way to go!

I know a Magenta Pink.... pink is her surname! She really suits it too, she's a happy, bright, cheerful person!

Tell her that Cerise means cherry and it is a shade of red, if you want to be pedantic. If anyone is in a certain area of Liverpool they'll know a Snow White, it is a cruel thing to do to a child.
