is it this?

Menopaused · 28/06/2024 20:13

It's a common sign off isn't it? I remember it from Newsround and Blue Peter. Two Ronnie's was "that's goodbye from me, and it's goodbye from him" or something like that.

CollyWobble99 · 28/06/2024 20:14

“When I first started in television at Granada... Sidney Bernstein said to me that the worst words ever uttered on TV were, ‘I'm sorry, that's all we have time for.’
Especially since they were always uttered just as someone was about to say something really interesting."

Crackerjack.

ArabellaFishwife · 28/06/2024 20:15

Definitely The Two Ronnies. 'That's all we've got time for, so it's goodnight from me'...'And goodnight from him'.

Saucery · 28/06/2024 20:15

Was it Playaway? “That’s all we have time for, children”

Grapesoda7 · 28/06/2024 20:15

Was it How? The kids show

ChaoticFrog · 28/06/2024 20:16

Newsround definitely said it

WhereIsTheHare · 28/06/2024 20:16

Take Hart? I can almost hear it in Tony Hart’s voice.

LunaNorth · 28/06/2024 20:16

God, I can hear the voice. Male, mellifluous…was it a news programme?

Allofaflutter · 28/06/2024 20:17

Not heard of that. Thanks though.
