To want round soap

I buy bar soap because we try to cut back on plastic packaging etc and now i just like it.

But... i hate large rectangular bars with sharp corners. They are so difficult & uncomfortable to manipulate in your hands. It takes loads of washes to get the corners gone. All the bars i find that i like the smell of are like this, in cardboard boxes. I'm sure they stack up nicely for shipping etc.... but they are not what i want.

I want small round soaps wrapped in paper like you used to get in hotels.

Why can't i find a good selection of round soaps with no corners?

Quietly hoping millions of people post telling me im wrong and providing tips on lovely round soap.

Roger & Gallet soaps are round and smell fabulous!

I use Pears, the green one or blue one are also nice smell. It’s rounded like an oval rather than a circle in case that puts you off!

Roger et gallet soaps are round, I like osmanthus best

The small l'occitane bars are nice, square but small and the corners round off after a couple of uses. I get them from QVC become reduced in January in a dozen. Lasts most of the year. Smell lovely too
Alternatively Johnson's baby soap is oval with very rounded edges, cheap and available everywhere

Suma makes lovely round shaped glycerine soaps, no animal products such as tallow or palm oil is used. I love the rose petal one.

Ok they used to make these round... and i loved them. I was put off when they made them square.

Top marks to all the roger gallet recommenders because i have found that they do a lavender one.

Simple soap is a rounded rectangle but if you’re looking for perfumed soap, they won’t do it for you.

There are lots of oval bars which is nearly round and they fit my soap dish perfectly (which is oval and on a slant so that excess water drips out and the soap does not get soggy).

Try Yardley or Bronnley for rounded ovals.

Pears soap is oval shaped. As is Johnson's honey baby soap (which I love). It's always worth having a look in TK Maxx. They have a huge range of soaps and I've previously bought boxes of three round ones.

Molten Brown do round soaps , the orange and bergamot is lovely .

As PPs have said, Roger & Gallet are lovely (and round!)

I love classic Dove smell and it's rounded oval

TK Maxx always has masses of bars of soap, all shapes and sizes, lots are great quality.

Tropic do a natural body bar that is amazing. Think it's £10 but lasts for ages.

I am after

• round. (Not oval. I like the ergonomics of smaller round soaps).
• perfumed

Dove are oval.. l love Dove soap.

Now I want Bronnley lemon shaped soaps, like we always had at Christmas in childhood!
