Ordered UTI meds with 24h tracking last night and got a ‘sorry we missed you’ email. I’ve been here in agony all day and now I have to wait until some time tomorrow. Couldn’t even send a customer service message as they decided I wasn’t human.

Could you not go to the pharmacy,

Where are you that Royal Mail deliver on a Sunday?

I’m just venting because it is a really bad one that went from nothing to seeing blood and feeling like being stabbed. I was holding on for this delivery and then they didn’t even bother to deliver it

@Zingy123 Royal Mail have never delivered to my house on a Sunday.
Not any house I've ever lived in either.

@poshme I've just finished a 9 hour shift doing just that. We deliver every single Sunday including Easter Sunday.

@Zingy123 it was tracked and set to deliver today and then I got the message earlier this afternoon. Just so upset as I am in pain and paid extra to get them asap

Boots do antibiotics for UTIs now. I think Superdrug with pharmacy do too. Probably too late for you but worth remembering for next time. Feel better soon!

If you ring 111, they are able to prescribe abs for you to pick up.

Really! I’ve lived in the south east, the north east, the midlands and the north west and Royal Mail have never delivered to me on a Sunday. How peculiar.

don’t they only deliver tracked parcels? They don’t deliver standard letters do they?

Nope midlands here and I've never known Royal Mail deliver on Sundays , to home or work.

they do. But only tracked 24 and special delivery guaranteed 24hr parcels and only if posted / collected before a certain time on Saturday. (5pm?).
I had one a couple of weeks ago.

I have never had a Sunday delivery from Royal Mail in 22 years of living here, maybe it varies from area to area

I worked as a Sunday delivery driver. The chances are they ran out of time as they get a hell of a lot of parcels to deliver (at my old depot all after 1pm). Definitely make a complaint, they suck
