Why is it ok for men to ‘appropriate’ being women? Why is this not ‘sex appropriation’? Any other other form of ‘appropriation’ is unacceptable, it seems. Why are women supposed to accept this. Slight detour but applicable.

Great in theory but the thing is that nobody would choose to enter the open or mixed category. Trans women, ie men, want only to bully their way into women's places.

The sports associations should stop anyone that was not born female from competing in women's sports. A man has no place in women's sport.

I agree and think along the lines of a previous poster, there should be 3 classes of sport: Men, Women, Open. Those who want to compete with the opposite sex may (ala Billy Jean King & Bobby Riggs) and those who identify with another sex than they were born to also may. If its really that big a problem, there will be more than enough participants and if not, still an option for them and they may race, lift, swim, etc against the clock if no others participating.

Exactly! There’s no separation by sex in equestrian sports because it’s not required.

Can't vote because I'm on the app but you are definitely definitely NBU. I gather that the darts authorities were originally going to safeguard women's competition but then the TRAs threatened to sue, so of course all women are sacrificed. About time the women players sued them for every penny they have. Data sounds like an incredible woman - I hope she does.

I don’t think men should be able to enter women’s competitions even when there isn’t a competitive advantage. That isn’t the only thing that matters. They exist to give women equal access, and somewhere out there is female darts player who didn’t get a place in this tournament because that entitled bloke took it.
