Shit! Liquids on a plane! Pls help

fly tomorrow, totally forgot about the liquids thing and I have no clear bottles! Anyone know where I can buy them today?

also what on earth do you do about makeup? Can’t imagine squeezing foundation into a bloody bottle!

I've taken liquids in bottles that aren't clear. As long as they are 100ml or smaller then you should be ok.

You don't need clear bottles. As long as they are no more than 100ml you just put them in the clear bags at the airport.

I never decant anything. Just stick my makeup in a bag and then buy travel sized toiletries at Boots the other side of security (because I'm never organised enough to buy them in advance!)

Clear bag, not clear bottles.

I fly all the time, as long as they are under 100mls and in a zip lock style bag it is fine.

I dont decant anything, just take bottles less than 100ml in a clear bag. make sure the bag is the right size though, I had to take everything out and out it in a smaller clear bag at manchester last year even though the bag wasnt full.

Are you putting anything in the hold, if so it can all go in there with no problem. If you only have carry on whatever you take needs to be in packaging no bigger than 100ml, so small packs of things just go in a clear bag 20cm x 20cm.

Put your liquids in hold luggage if you’re taking it. Otherwise, make sure it’s less than 100ml and use a clear bag.

If you do fly from an airport where they have scrapped this rule, remember that the airport coming back may still be following it.

As others have said, the bottles don’t need to be clear, they don’t need to be decanted from their original container as long as they’re under 100ml.

Unless your make-up comes in massive containers and is more than 100ml, you just bung it in a clear bag at security. Other things don't have to be in clear containers, they can be in original ones as long as they hold no more than 100ml.

We put a lot of stuff in checked luggage- it doesn't all need to go with us in the cabin. If it's stuff that might leak, we put it in a clip lock box in our suitcases.

They didn't even check mine when I flew earlier in the week. I was putting it in the clear bag when a worker waved me on and said don't bother just put your hand luggage in the tray and go through.

We went from Stansted three weeks ago and they are trialling no need to take the bags out. It was bliss - took me back to 2005 (old!)
However, foundation stays in its container as does toothpaste so no need to flap!

You need a clear bag max size 20x20cm and able to be sealed. The bottles/pots/cans can be any colour as long as each of them are 100ml or under.

Also they will hand you a clear bag at security so don’t worry about getting a clear bag either. Just make sure everything is under 100ml and don’t bring too much, these bags are rather small, it’s one bag per person and you can only take what fits in.

Not all airports provide bags and some charge for them. A small resealable freezer bag is around the correct size. I've always packed my freezer bag before getting to the airport

I've been turned back at a UK airport with a correct sized freezer bag before now - and directed to the plastic bag vending machine instead.

Well I've never had my freezer bag rejected and have never used a bag vending machine

I've had my freezer bag both accepted and rejected at the same airport 3 months apart.

Probably depends on the person.
