To be pissed off with hairdresser

Went to do my hair extensions, hairdresser lady asked if she can take photos but didn't say anything about posting them on FB to her 8K followers

Well she did , face included, 14 photos and some of photos I didn't even know she took as i can see she just started applying the hair and at that point i wasn't asked whether she can take photos .

Now myself and my DD are escaping DV and if my ex abuser partner came across he'd see our new location.

I asked her to blurr my face out she said okay at 2pm and it's still up . I asked again and explained why and for some reason she send a smiley 😃 emoji as if DV is funny said she will remove photos now and she didn't realise .

But photos are still up .
when you delete post on FB does it take time for it ti disappear?

Report the posts to Facebook for removal . Might not work but worth a try. Find another hairdresser too!!

That is awful - it should be instant - report the photos.

If she’s on her phone texting you, she can delete some photos.

i said that i don't post myself on social media as it's extremely dangerous for myself and my daughter, specially when location is included

i think she understood.. i will wait till tomorrow then post under it this and that didn't give my consent .

I'm sorry, just seen that. If the photos are still up report to Facebook, they might remove them. Once she deleted her post they will go instantly.

I’d reply asking why she’s sent a laughing reply to such a serious message and tell her to take the photos down immediately. Stupid fucking idiot (her, not you).

i mean i know it's extremely unlikely for for my ex to come across this but i went through hell and back to feel safe and still have PTSD , 2016-219 abuse lasted we had to escape and make a life in a new place . I just want to keep low profile .

This really bothers me , even if chance is one in a million still i don't want my face and location on FB page with 8K followers 😭

And would be nice for her to ask for consent at least :(

i felt like asking "what's funny ?"
But stopped myself as i hate confrontation or being rude

But if it's not fine when i wake up , i will have to say smth and post under that , saying i didn't give my consent.

And give 1 star review etc , i just don't understand why she said " sorry didn't realise , it's done now !"

but it's up , doesn't she think i can see it

Phone her. Tell her she needs to delete them while you're on the phone to her because she is putting you in danger, otherwise you'll need to seek legal advice. She can ignore texts, not so easy with you on the phone.

Does she work in a salon? I'd be making a complaint to the manager.
I know you don't like confrontation, but your child's safety could have been at risk. You need to give her a piece of your mind!! And never go back to her.

No , she has sort of a shed in garden and works from home
there part time . She is self employed and only one that does hair .

I will ring her tomorrow morning if the post if not down but definitely never coming back :(

You need to get ok with confrontation for this. This is appalling.

You need to tell her, in no uncertain terms, why it needs to come down and demand she actions that immediately. Give her the legal advice you received. Be hard. This is for you life.

i can message on social but what's the point when i have her mobile number.

Don't leave it til tomorrow, why would you wait so potentially 100s more people could see it? Making it more likely someone who knows your ex could see it and share it? She's not taking this seriously enough but neither are you. Contact her now and insist she takes it down now.

she is not answering and FB is not taking down photos either
