Marc Jacobs Bag - keep or return?

We’re on holiday in the states and I’ve gone slightly mad in one of those discount shopping malls. I got this bag about £150 less than what I’d pay in the UK (but I’d never ever buy a Marc Jacobs bag in the uk - I just don’t get the opportunity to shop)

anyway I keep looking at it and thinking that I should take it back and swap it for a more practical bag, this one gets my phone & keys in it but that’s about it.

I have 5 year old twins so not at all practical 😂

what do you think?

Keep it you’ll love using it when you get the chance to go out.

If you can afford the bag keep it. If not return it

We can afford it but I keep looking & thinking wow that’s not very practical 😂

If you love it, keep it. I still regret a khaki green leather bag that I didn't buy at a Christmas Market outside the UK, ten years ago. I buy a new kurt geiger every year and still regret one I didn't buy in the sale two years ago.

But it is. It's a cross body bag to keep your phone (payment methods, tickets etc) safe. While everything else is in a beachbag/shopper. Keep it in the dustbag, stored carefully and when life starts again, you've got a designer bag, in a neutral colour.

Return it, buy a nice cheaper bag and give the remainder of the money you can afford to spend to a food bank or homeless charity.

Keep it. There will be a point in your life when all you need to take out are your keys and a phone. If you love it, then that's enough. We deserve to buy ourselves nice things, I don't see why you'd have to be a martyr and return it for a food bank donation. Not everything has to be a race to piousness........ wear the bag, love the bag.

I use it a lot.

just a little pointless update, I did take the bag back but only to swap it for a (in my opinion) a better, more versatile colour.

I also found a absolute bargain of a Kate Spade bag 🙊

As someone who has used food banks in the past and is very grateful for those able to donate.... this is fucking ridiculous 😂

So nobody should buy anything over £30 but just donate all disposable income to food banks 😂😂😂

my DC are nearly 5 and I haven’t had anything like this for myself for years and years so I’m going to try and enjoy it xx

I have 3 tiny phone bags and they are incredibly useful when you have a rucksack (for example) on and you can't be arsed to take the thing off and rummage for phone or keys. They also fit a passport in so useful for travelling. I pop the whole thing in the rucksack at a check in desk if it's only 1 piece of hand luggage allowed.

I need a slightly large one now to keep my kindle in as well now though.

I have the black version and use it a lot. I dont take much out with me any more so love just having a small, light bag I can wear cross body and forget about. I'm sure you'll get loads of wear out of it. Love the new colour as well
