Iceland payroll number help needed urgently, please help!

Does anyone have the number for Iceland's payroll department please?

I don't work for them but my partner does and he's telling me he hasn't been paid. That's a bigger problem but I want him to ring them in front of me because I'm fed up of him never paying his way!

There’s isn’t just an “Iceland payroll department” ? He will have a contact number for his own stores payroll department or can get one via HR, nobody here can tell you what it is, but your partner can

He's spoken to his boss apparently who said he would get the outstanding amount today. He hasn't received the money.

Tbh I'm fucking sick of him at the moment being a useless lump who can't sort anything out! We're meant to be going out to tea tonight but honestly I don't feel like it!

Well did he ring them and what was the outcome?

Surely it would be easier for him to show you his bank.

He has not rang them and he doesn't have online access to his bank account. He's in the bath at the moment because he's not feeling well (though he's done exactly nothing to help himself with that either!)

How does he receive his payslip? Is it on an intranet or a payroll service?

Been together on and off for about 18 months - been together since Nov but I honestly can't see it lasting much longer because he's constantly moaning about his job it has turned down several offers, including one just around the corner from his place! He has a trade (welding) but won't go back to it because( he's too fucking bone idle) the hours aren't "reliable" enough, whatever that means!

I'm not planning to speak to them but want him to ring in front of me because I have a feeling he's not actually owed the money - he has form for bunking off work and lying about it. Also lying to work about why he's been off - apparently I was in hospital in Dec - I most certainly wasn't!

They're online apparently and the portal isn't letting him log in or something!

That he is prepared to lie that you were in hospital is a deal breaker. Get-out whilst you can. He lying to you and it will get worse

might sound silly but does he definitely still work for them? Doesn’t have any HR info…can’t get into payslip portal…can’t access online banking…lots of excuses there. Most people would be hopping mad they hadn’t been paid, it’s very odd he doesn’t sound fussed.

As someone that’s worked closely with payroll throughout my career I’d be prepared to go out on a limb and say an organisation of Iceland’s size and repute won’t be getting anybody’s pay wrong or underpaying staff. Unless there’s been human error in recording timesheet hours.
