In Not Finding This Funny

I was having a look at the baby clothes on ebay and found this

It's not that I have a problem with slogan t-shirts as such, although I don't tend to buy them, I do think they can be funny or cute.

This on the other hand I just find offensive.

The one I have seen that I really like is "Nobody Puts Baby in the Corner"

rey · 27/03/2008 13:14

It would be a good way to sort out the idiot parent in the playgroup before you get talking to them and regret it!

Lozza70 · 27/03/2008 13:18

I have to admit I bought the 'nobody puts baby in a corner' one for my niece as one of the presents when she was born as my sister loved Dirty Dancing back in the day and I knew it would make her laugh.

Our local paper ran an article (with photo)about a charity shop that was totally shocked because someone had donated a brown babygro that bore the legend 'Full of sh*t'

HolidaysQueen · 27/03/2008 13:35

I generally really hate slogan tees for kids - particularly any that refer to sex, violence, bad language etc. - but DH bought one for our baby (due today, although showing no signs of budging) which is for age 3 to 6 months. It says "I Wasn't Born Yesterday". That one at least makes me smile

nappyaddict · 19/04/2008 00:44

does anyone like this one

madamez · 19/04/2008 00:52

Oh boo fucking hoo not everyone dresses their babies in Boden. If you don't like something, don't buy it. If you have issues around sweat-shop produced clothing, slogan t-shirts are a very small part of it so buy from charity shops or freecycle or whatever. But really there are better things to get your undies in a bundle about than what other people buy for their DC.

LyraSilvertongue · 19/04/2008 00:56

They shake me? Not remotely funny.

LyraSilvertongue · 19/04/2008 00:57

My children dress in everything from Primark to Boden btw. I am not a children's clothes snob.

3andnomore · 19/04/2008 00:57

The Motehrsucker T-shirt is a funny T-shirt for a breastfed Baby

Also...what is wrong with the word Distruction....is it destruction?

LyraSilvertongue · 19/04/2008 00:59

Yes, destruction.

twinsetandpearls · 19/04/2008 01:01

I hate slogan t shirts for children, or adults for that matter.

3andnomore · 19/04/2008 01:02

oh right....I never even noticed until it was highlighted...but I did notice the choosen/chosen thing....so, maybe there is hope for me, yet.....

twinsetandpearls · 19/04/2008 01:03

They are quite cute though nappyaddict

nappyaddict · 19/04/2008 18:35

i think the ipeed and ipood ones are cute. also saw one that said what happens in preschool stays in preschool. i liked that one.

have seen some breastfeeding ones which are quite good - pardon my nipple breath and i'm more of a boob man.
