Embarrassed in front of Amazon delivery people

Currently sick at home-messy pj bottoms tucked into socks, oversized, old striped jumper, hair scraped back…anyone else hate having to sign for Amazon type packages?! I have to walk to my gate too. Today, young done up woman, sure she was thinking ‘Lazy cow’ 🙈😫

I work nights so sometimes answer the door in my pjs in the afternoon, looking like shit. Non of their business. I used to apologise and explain but now so smile, say thank you and carry on with my day

I don't care how I look except in the summer when I'm my summer PJs of a camisole and can't find my dressing gown so I try and hide behind the door to avoid the trigger happy drliver taking a picture of me.

It’s ok. I always answer the door like that. I was outside the other day and Amazon suddenly loomed up out of the dark and shit me up. Nearly screamed in their face.

I constantly answer the door to various delivery drivers in PJs or a onesie. It's all I basically wear when in here house and not going out. Why would I bother to get dressed if not going anywhere just because someone might appear at my door for 2 mins with a parcel?!? I very much doubt they care as long as you are clothed lol! . They probably see all sorts.

I am a delivery driver, we visit a lot of people dressed this way, trust me, we don't care! And neither should you 😊

I did have a package turn up when I was dying my hair the other day. I had my head wrapped up in clingfilm. I saw him so a double take so I just pointed at it and said, “I don’t want hair dye on the sofa” and he gave me the thumbs up.

I wear my dressing gown over my clothes when I'm in the house to keep warm so the delivery drivers only ever see me in my dressing gown 😂 I've never really thought about it before!

This is me most days 😅 one day I even had a huge hole in my PJ bottoms, binned them now!🙈

Could be worse I once answered the door to the postman with my nipple poking out. I had false tanned and thought I successfully converted my vest into a boob tube while it was drying. I hadn't. And because I was all moist and warm off the false tan I didn't feel the air on my boob 😩

I know he noticed and god love him he just asked for my signature, patted the dogs head and told me to have a nice day.

I WFH, am usually in my pj bottoms with a nice top / jumper for meetings. Never occurred to me to think what the delivery driver thinks!

I've delivered in the past for a bit of beer money - trust me, no one minds.
If anything I was jealous that I was outside in all weathers and they were wearing comfy things indoors! 😂

We run a business from home. Its stuff for that, not online shopping for personal stuff. And if they catch us at the wrong time... we are PPE. It looks very strange.

The driver is only concerned about delivering the parcels. I doubt they give you a second thought. You're just a number on a very long list of deliveries.

I never have to sign for Amazon (or any other) deliveries...they just leave them outside the door thankfully🤔
I'm in a reasonably quiet area in Ireland but still lots of neighbours. Front door is not overlooked if that makes a difference.
