Questioned over Covid tests in Tesco

So I bought two Covid tests with my quickly shop. Young male cashier picked them up, held them up and said, "do I have anything to worry about?'. I said what do you mean. He said "these, do I have anything to worry about - if you have it I have it". I said you probably don't, and paid. I'm irritated though! They weren't even for me, but if they were I wouldn't fancy having my health issues publicised! Am I being unreasonable to be a bit irritated?

He's clearly not read up on the latest risk levels of COVID-19.

Smart arse knobber.

Or maybe he had, and knew that around 500 people were being hospitalised with covid and 55 people were dying of it in England every day in mid-January this year. 😕 Just because most people have forgotten about it, doesn't mean it's gone away.

£2 for a single test! Hope you are ok

Also, interestingly enough, I am friends with a critical care nurse, and they have to go to work, Covid or not.
