Just discovered horseradish sauce.
Specifically m&s creamed horseradish sauce .
Had it yesterday on beef Xmas lunch and today with left over beef.
It's a revelation.
I'm in love.

No blinis, it works well enough on toast too!

I’m sorry for the late discovery… that is tragic!

Clearly anything beef as you’ve discovered and potatoes. But on special occasions (or when I get a taste for it) I make a very horseradish-y cocktail sauce for shrimp cocktails.

For the summer fix, radishes go on everything!

Typically creamed horseradish sauce is just horseradish + mayo, so easy to do and have on hand at home.

I love horseradish - especially quality home made yum.

I’m 59 and only a few weeks ago “discovered” Nutella!! Now I see why my DC used to rave about it lol.

I make "horserabbit dumplings" as they're known in our house. If making a beef stew I just ad some horseradish to the dumpling mixture and they're delicious!

Yup, straight out the jar on a spoon for me too! Love it. DH thinks I'm a savage.

Also second having it with smoked mackerel, in mash or in a beef and tomato sandwich.

Yes especially smoked mackerel pate. Smoked mackerel, sour cream horseradish and lemon juice whizzed up - lovely!

You can make it yourself - buy a whole horseradish and grate it in a food processor. Freeze. That takes the unpleasant heat out. Mix grated horseradish with mayonnaise and serve with everything, not just beef. Tastes great with fish.

Toast, spread with horseradish, poached egg. Smoked salmon an optional extra...
try Coleman's extra hot horseradish for an extra kick. (You only need a little!)
