I really like the concept of these crazy shoes, vibram 5 fingers.

Anyone know about them?

Very cold in winter. Depends where you are of course (I'm in south of UK, north of London).

Make sure you know all about plantar fascitis and have signed up to any work-provided physio cover BEFOREHAND.

I had a pair (might even still have them around). Nice to pad around in, in the right circumstances. Did the odd parkrun (local one has a lot of its course on grass) in them. But now I'm older, heavier, stiffer, and have had PF at least twice, so I would now only walk in them and that with caution.

Fair enough if you can give the OP - who has barefoot experience so will hopefully also be fine - your feet and guarantee they remain ageless, happy days! A certain bit of caution might be warranted in other circumstances ;) There are a wide range of feet and body types reading these threads, so...

As someone that does have plantar faciitis, these would not be great. Having bare feet is quite painful with PF.
