Leavers Hoodies should be allowed for the whole of the last year?

Some Year 6's round our way are already wearing their leavers hoodies... which is great considering parents have to pay for them and once they finish primary they may wear them over the summer hols but probably never again once they go up to secondary.

AIBU to think this should be standard in all primary's where leavers hoodies are a thing?

And if IABU then why?

Yabu. You aren't a leaver till the end of the last term! I think they should get them in the last few weeks. My DD wore here till she grew out of it and I got it in a big size, they got theirs on the last day of term and it made the day really special (it was in COVID so they had missed out on so much).

Dd2's year got them about November I think, she didn't want one though as they weren't the cool ones with printed names on the back. I think it's a nice idea to get them early to get the money's worth.
