I'm so bored. What can I play or do on my phone?

I have cancer, having chemo, been in & out of hospital. At home for now and feeling well enough to hold my phone for once, but not much else. Finding it too hard to read a book (chemo brain, exhaustion) and can't really watch TV/movies because I have two small children and while DH is looking after them, I need to keep an ear out. I've spent many hours today scrolling Mumsnet and I have a couple of merge type games that I've been playing, but I'm soooo bored. Any recommendations for games or apps that are good for easy mindless scrolling/tapping??

I LOVE this too 🥳 and a ball sort game. Many a happy hour on both of these.

Oh there’s also Doodle God (and others in the series) - you have to match elements to create more. It gets very addictive quickly as you try and ‘create’ the whole world and beyond.

Devils Attorney - not a long game but has replayability. Another puzzle type game, you play a lawyer who has to build up his skill points to win cases. You get a set amount of ‘points’ at the start of each case, on your turn you need to be strategic about how you take out the opponents witnesses and evidence without being taken out yourself.

Game Dev - you can build up your own game company, it take a little bit to get a handle on building up the company and training staff but once you get going it’s so addictive trying to get a 10/10 rated game 🤣

I love kairosoft games. You do have to pay for them but they are so in depth for games that you just play on your phone. The farm one is my favourite. If you like simulation games where you have to design the layout of things and manage money etc.. kairosoft are the best.

You mentioned you have Apple Arcade so I’d recommend Creeks if you fancy a creepy little story-mode platform game with some challenging puzzles and Hello Kitty Island Adventure (no I’m not 12 but I am addicted 🙈😂) if you like a slow-paced free-roamer where you can discover places and secrets and do puzzles and quests in a beautiful relaxing environment with some super cute characters. I wish this had been available when I was going through chemo as it would have made some of the days and nights a little more bearable. So easy to play although you can mix things up to increase difficulty.
