To wonder where the hell his toothbrush was??

(Lighthearted because we definitely can’t solve or prove this here…)

Just got home from a date a few hours back. He told me before the date he couldn’t stay out too late as needed to join a work call at 11 (which is legit for the type of work he does).

Went back to his place for a last drink.

Used his loo and noticed NO toothbrush and toothpaste on the side of his sink????

My conclusion - he’s seeing someone and he was going to stay at her house overnight, which is why his toothbrush was missing.

What on Earth other explanation could there be?? It was really bizarre.

It didn’t really occur to me at the time but I should’ve asked!

Shame because I quite like him, but that seems a bit suspect to me.

What on Earth are you talking about?

Shablam · 28/07/2023 01:46

Eh? You said that you noticed his toothbrush so how is it missing?

Inspectorgadget2 · 28/07/2023 01:46

Meant to say there was NO toothbrush and toothpaste!

let me see if I can delete the post.

Typo! Have reported the post to see if I can correct it. I meant there was NO toothbrush and toothpaste.

I wouldn’t think that deep into it tbh. I would’ve just asked him out of curiosity though.

CalishataFolkart · 28/07/2023 01:51

Maybe he has an electric toothbrush charging elsewhere and has run out of toothpaste.

Maybe he keeps them in a cabinet.

Shablam · 28/07/2023 01:51

Maybe he just keeps them in a cupboard to avoid the poo air getting on them?

buzzlightyearsgloves · 28/07/2023 01:51

Was it in the shower? My partner does his teeth whilst showering.

BrownHairedGirlWithTheBrightestSmile · 28/07/2023 02:01

There’s some really strange threads atm. 😂

Maybe he keeps them in a cabinet or a wash bag or the shower or somewhere.

My first thought would not be that he was off to fuck someone else. Would be really take his own toothpaste if he was? I mean a toothbrush maybe, but toothpaste? If he’s going to stick his dick in this imagined woman, would he not share her toothpaste? 🤣

JudgeRinderonTinder · 28/07/2023 02:02

God OP, that’s a really strange observation and even weirder that you would jump to that conclusion straight off the bat that he’s seeing someone else?

Are you insecure?

IamThegreaterMole · 28/07/2023 02:05

Electric one on charge. Mine is often not in the bathroom, shit battery, need charging all the time.

Hadjab · 28/07/2023 02:09

Or maybe he just doesn’t brush his teeth…

Mangotango39 · 28/07/2023 02:09

This is a huge leap !!!!!
Could be lots of explanations

Inspectorgadget2 · 28/07/2023 02:14

I did say it was a lighthearted post!

I keep my toothbrush and toothpaste next to the kitchen sink (old habit from when I used to smoke first thing in the back garden).

Maybe he took it with him to meet you? I used to take mine to work with me when I had dates straight from work. Coffee breath is not the best date etiquette!

Ladyj84 · 28/07/2023 02:30

My hubby's toothbrush is always in the shower and you will barely ever see mine either in bin as I change it often or cabinet

uncomfortablydumb53 · 28/07/2023 02:39

I keep and charge my toothbrush in the kitchen
My DS charges his in the bedroom
No sockets in bathroom obviously

Why are there no outlets in the bathroom?

WhichEllie · 28/07/2023 02:55

I think many people put them away. My toothpaste is always in a drawer and my toothbrush in the cabinet on its stand unless I have it charging on the counter near the sink.

steff13 · 28/07/2023 02:52

Why are there no outlets in the bathroom?

Many UK bathrooms don't have the space requirements to meet the minimum distance needed between a shaver outlet and a water source.

uncomfortablydumb53 · 28/07/2023 03:26

@steff13
No shaver plug or anything else

BadNomad · 28/07/2023 04:01

I keep mine in the kitchen because of the poo particles. Plus it's easier to charge. Check there next time.
