Why do men/males kiss by just opening their mouth to the fullest

Yesterday I met up with a few friends for a ladies lunch. As we do many conversations from all different subjects, but the one we ALL agreed on was... How males just kiss by opening their mouths fully and that's it.
There's no mimicking the other person. Just open wide.
Some of them said that at some point have taught their boyfriend /partner / husband what to do.

My question is..

Wibu to teach the partner what to do, even though this could potentially offend them

Or

Shall I just avoid kissing to the point further than a peck.

Has anyone been in this situation before?

(I can only say about males as none of our group have kissed females) .

I've voted you are being unreasonable because of your sweeping judgement. but yes if course tell your partner what you want, that's different to telling them they are doing it wrong thougg which would be offensive.

I think the vast majority of males have more skill than just opening their mouths wide!

I've kissed a fair few, and only found a couple of unskilled kissers. Even the ones that started pretty awful were soon taught some skills Wink

Admittedly I haven't missed anyone except my partner in nearly 20 years, but this definitely wasn't my experience in my youth... and I had er... quite a lot of experience 😂 Definitely a few terrible kissers, but no open mouths. Sounds revolting, wouldn't get a second go that's for sure!

I've had men do this and it's repulsive! One memorably just opened his mouth, stuck it on mine and kept it still. Not much you can do with that. He was in his 40s, so old enough to have had practice really.

I've kissed hundreds of men and only a couple were like this. Needless to say I never kissed them more than once and certainly wouldn't marry one!

I also loathe tongue thrusters so they went the same way. Yuckitty 🤮

Most men I've kissed(and teenage boys when I was a teenager myself)have been good kissers, I think there's only been around 4 bad kissers and 2 of them were when I was a teenager and the other 2 it was just one night.

I think kissing can be a bit like sex some people need some suttle help, that's what I'd do, it's one thing to put up with bad kissing if it's a one night stand but if you're in a relationship imo the kissing needs to be good.

I've only ever known one man who kissed like this and we only lasted for about five dates. Nobody else I've ever snogged has kissed in this manner!

Unfortunately current boyfriend kisses like this. Interesting to hear it's a porn thing - that would make a lot of sense!

Only had 'normal' kissers up to this point.....few bad, some fantastic. One very wet and damp, like being splooshed head first into a blancmange, but that wasn't just open mouth, it was just enthusiasm.

Not my experience at all.

I might have deleted a couple of bad kissers from my memory, but no way would have I spent anytime with a bad kisser, let alone go further than kissing.

I seriously doubt that all my exes and my husband are miraculously the only good kisser around.

I've had the opposite, not opening not very much. Not great. But more often than not guys are pretty good and willing to learn. I've had a kiss so good that it rescued an awkward date and me me see the guy in a whole new light

Kissing is a deal-breaker for me now. It has to be good, if it's not almost certainly the sex will be disappointing.
