To ask if this pregnancy test looks positive?!

I would never usually write a thread like this and have NC.

I have not had a period in 2 years and have PCOS. I cannot take the pill due to a health condition I have so my partner and I use condoms. We have a child already who is autistic with severe learning delays.

I have been feeling very nauseous all weekend but had really awful diarrhoea on Saturday so thought it was just a tummy bug. However my bowels went back to normal whilst the nausea is still going. I’ve also had cramping & the smell down there is different - really strong smelling and musky. V odd to me.

I decided to take a test, and got a very faint line within 30 seconds but it didn’t get stronger. Overnight it got stronger but thought maybe just evap. Tested this morning - unfortunately after a pint of water as forgot not to drink first! And got another faint line but this time stronger and more blue. This one also came up straight away and got darker. But again I’m thinking maybe evap?

so just wanted to ask if my eyes are going mad or if anyone else sees lines?

Take a sample to the doctors for a proper test, or wait until tomorrow and take another test without drinking first.

Darknightsahead · 27/06/2023 14:07

It looks like it but you’ve taken the pic outside so it’s hard to tell if it’s just the shadow from being being outside. Try and take another picture inside with your camera flash on.

Pippa12 · 27/06/2023 14:09

I can’t tell because of the lighting. I’d take one first thing tomorrow.

Red2017 · 27/06/2023 14:09

I think i can see a line on both but the picture isn't the clearest.

I would suggest getting a pink dye test rather than blue dye as they are more reliable.

Coffeeisnecessary · 27/06/2023 14:09

Yes I agree with others, it isn't the best picture but I can see a line. Maybe try a first response one with pink dye if you can? They can be clearer.

Ohhelpicantthinkofaname · 27/06/2023 14:10

I think I can see a line on the top one. Do another tomorrow first thing before you drink anything and see what happens.

Positivenegativetest · 27/06/2023 14:14

Trying to take a flash picture but the flash is just reflecting off so you can’t see at all! I’ll try take another. Doctors won’t see me because they said I should take the home test as a positive. They’re a lot clearer in person so v annoying!

There is definitely a line there

MrsR87 · 27/06/2023 14:21

I definitely see lines in both tests in both pictures.

uncomfortablydumb53 · 27/06/2023 14:23

I can see a line too

simbasays · 27/06/2023 14:23

I can see a line on both tests - so yes looks positive to me. Good luck whatever you decide

BlackeyedSusan · 27/06/2023 14:25

Definitely on the top one.

I'm outside with dodgy glasses.

Danikm151 · 27/06/2023 14:25

Get a bog standard cheapie pink dye and see what that says 🙂

Sparklybanana · 27/06/2023 14:26

I see a line but it's very grey which could be false. I'd do a digital or pink dye test as a confirmation.

Fiflaboeuf · 27/06/2023 14:34

I can definitely see lines on both.

Darknightsahead · 27/06/2023 15:04

I actually found the cheap boots ones better than the clear blue. Can you get to shop and get one of those. I had a clear blue line with the boots one after a pint of water.

Darknightsahead · 27/06/2023 15:05

Oh and there are defo lines there OP. I think you are pregnant.

TokyoSushi · 27/06/2023 15:09

There's something going on. Can you get a pink dye test?

MargotBamborough · 27/06/2023 15:12

I see something but I hate those tests.

Can you get a First Response or a digital test?

Hugasauras · 27/06/2023 15:13

Get a pink dye. Those blue Clearblues are awful for evap lines, ghost lines, indents, whatever. It's hard to tell but if the line is skinny and off-centre on those tests then it's usually dodgy.

Agrogrila · 27/06/2023 15:34

I can see a line very easily on both tests.

It is a bit grey though.

TolkiensFallow · 27/06/2023 15:48

I can see the lines easily. If it’s within the time frame then it’s positive.
This might be one of those situations where the expensive digital ones are your friend.

PurpleNebula84 · 27/06/2023 15:58

I say get a pink dye one too... I had a scare a couple of months ago and the evap lines on these ones is a very blue and looks like a positive, especially if you are looking after the time frame.

mindutopia · 27/06/2023 16:43

I can see it, but I would get a First Response as those were always most reliable for me.
