Anyone else in the queue to pre register? I’ve been queuing over an hour and this isn’t even to get tickets! How much do you think they’ll cost?

The emails seem to be coming through hours and hours later. I registered at 8pm last night and didn’t get my email until 2am ish.

toodlesofoodles · 21/06/2023 07:41

I went to Reputation at the Etihad and I managed to get tickets 12 days before the show. They weren't great tickets but still.

This is crazy by comparison!

bellinisurge · 21/06/2023 07:48

@thebellagio , I don't have one either

Aria20 · 21/06/2023 07:53

I registered at 9.30pm and got my email at 5am. I am flying abroad on 18th July though so I doubt I'll be able to sort tickets that day anyway.... if I'd known to register for the pre sale on 10th I'd have been ok!

thebellagio · 21/06/2023 08:01

I registered at 8.15 last night then tried again at 3am this morning when I couldn’t sleep and haven’t had an email from either attempt

CavalierApproach · 21/06/2023 08:08

I registered at about 11 p.m. last night and haven't had an email yet.

larkstar · 21/06/2023 08:09

As I said above - it took 9hrs for this email to arrive for me so "You Need To Calm Down!"

I registered at 6pm yesterday and haven't had an email either. If it gets to 24hrs then I'm just going to re-register.

Bapbap45 · 21/06/2023 08:17

Of you look at people's footage on IG of the American shows, you'll see how the stage and screens are set up that no matter the seats you get a really great experience. The size of those stadiums are mind boggling! I'm waiting for my email too.

AmazingBouncingFerret · 21/06/2023 08:29

My daughter shrieked and almost broke her expensive laptop in her excitement at the announcement, we both managed to register in about 20 minutes and my confirmation emails came about an hour later whilst I was booking hotels for all the dates! 😬

Mumofsend · 21/06/2023 08:38

My email hasn't arrived either and I registered about 6pm

nicky2512 · 21/06/2023 08:49

Silly question but I have only ever bought tickets for a concert I’m actually attending. If multiple family members all try and someone is successful, can the tickets then be transferred to dd and I or does the person buying actually have to be the person attending? Thanks

SummaLuvin · 21/06/2023 09:03

She is doing 11 dates in UK & Ireland, and a further 15 dates in the rest of Europe. Comparatively for Reputation she did only 6 dates (Manchester/London/Dublin) for the European leg, so I'm really hoping it will be ok, as this time we won't be competing against the whole of Europe. The Rep tour was such a magic experience.

HewasH20 · 21/06/2023 09:11

@nicky2512 Hopefully.

nicky2512 · 21/06/2023 09:17

@HewasH20 thanks. I’ve no idea about these things.

TokyoSushi · 21/06/2023 09:18

I registered at 9pm last night and my email came through at about 3am

I'm just registering on the Liverpool FC website now (you can register if you're a member) and then I'll have to let fate do it's thing!

I'm 100% positive when it was the Ed Sheeran gigs in Ipswich a few years ago, the person who bought the ticket had to be attending. There was a big deal about it because there were loads of parents who had bought tickets for their kids because they had the credit card info.

I'm surprised that all of the dates are on sale at the same time. You would have thought they would have staggered the times slightly to ease website traffic demand, so for example Wembley #1 at 2pm, Wembley #2 at 4pm, Wembley #3 at 6pm and Wembley #4 at 8pm

In an ideal world, I wish that they try to limit people to one show, just so that more people have a chance of getting tickets but obv that could never happen.

I'm just hoping that if Wembley holds 90k-100k for concerts, that's 360,000-400,000 tickets available for London alone. I really hope that I can go.

It does annoy me though how they don't mention anything of ticket prices....I genuinely believe that should be a key part of the pre-registration info.

Sunnydaysareahead · 21/06/2023 09:28

I registered and got my email saying I will receive an email on the 5th confirming next steps - is that the day I can buy tickets? I read it was the 10th and my daughter said the 18th July?

HewasH20 · 21/06/2023 09:29

@nicky2512 I hope they won't do a Hamilton and insist on the buyer being present, although they are desperately trying to prevent the touts. I could get away with taking DD when she was 16 (just after her last GCSE) but I think I'd cramp her style now. It's still like to buy them for her though.

HewasH20 · 21/06/2023 09:30

No tickets go on sale on 5th.

nicky2512 · 21/06/2023 09:31

@thebellagio thanks. I imagined I remembered hearing this somewhere but wasn’t sure.
To make things worse, dd has just realised that the weekend of our nearest venue will most likely be her graduation! Going to have to look further afield which would mean flights instead of train. I despair.

nicky2512 · 21/06/2023 09:33

@HewasH20 lol - I would be happy enough to step aside and let someone else go but dd (21) who is Taylor obsessed thinks it would be lovely for her and I to go together!

JeremyBeadlesLobsterHands · 21/06/2023 09:35

Have people managed to book hotel rooms? I can’t find anywhere that allows booking this far in advance, where are you looking? I also don’t know London at all!

5th-6th - you will get confirmation if your pre-registration was successful or waitlisted and if successful you will be given a code to access general sale

10th-12th - pre-sale for those who pre-ordered midnights back in October

18th-20th - sales open for those who got given a code following their pre-registration

this is what I understand it to be, there is over a week between pre-sale and general sale, so not sure if more pre-sales are planned but not announced

thebellagio · 21/06/2023 09:36

@nicky2512 they might have changed it now, but certainly when I saw Ed it was 2019 and certainly the rule was that the cardholder had to be present, because they were checking names against cards at the entrance (which they did).

In a way, for the majority of people, it's not an issue. But the problems arise when you buy tickets for someone as a present, or you use someone elses's credit card for the section 75 protection rather than using your own debit card.

I'm hoping to get 3 tickets for me, DH and my 8yo. She's absolutely beyond excited about the idea of seeing her idol in person. She's constantly watching the Reputation tour on Netflix
