Considering Cam girl work when I can't work traditionally

Hear me out

I am a FT carer and need to catch up on some sleep whilst my DC is at school.

That leaves, roughly, 3 or 4 hours a day for a job of any sort.

Ideally it'll be something self employed because my DC has a lot of medical appointments sometimes and this is tricky when a job is already term time only in a school, which I've left before as it was getting a bit silly with the time off

I've looked into those remote live chat jobs - an example is something like Argos or whatever, you click on chat to an agent and someone helps you. That sort of thing. But I've found 0

I'm thinking Cam work might work? Or at least worth trying? I'm not bothered about showing myself... my flesh is mine to keep. Nobody is touching me.

I have even thought of taking in ironing but there are companies who are big around here who already provide this service. The same goes for dog walking

I live in the countryside sort of semi rural and there is a local dog walker and doggy daycare type of place that provides safe open fields and stuff for dogs! So you would have ridiculous competition

Any advice and help would be appreciated

Before caring, I was a secretary in a hospital

The thing is, cam work is not what it used to be. The market is saturated and the ones making money put a lot of hours and effort into it, either by building relationships or doing very niche/extreme stuff. It's not as easy as log in, shake your hips and the money just flows.

I mean sure, you can give it a go, but you need to have realistic expectations about it.

Agree with @AngryGreasedSantaCatcus with onlyfans and seemingly everyone doing that, the market is saturated, like I say i steered away from cam sites as they take too much commission. I suppose ive carved out a good niche doing domination and i find it far more lucrative, I'm naturally dominant though and enjoy bossing men about so I've landed on my feet 😆

If it was me starting out i would start with the worn clothing sites, sell content, gather some regulars and take it from there. If you're brave enough to do camming you can do it via skype and charge for a block of minutes, that way youre not paying out to any middle men. And can choose what you offer and set boundaries.

In terms of earning, for me the financial submissives are the biggest spenders with the least amount of work! I sell maybe 2 or 3 vanilla items a week, knickers, tights, but most of the time im rinsing subs and if i sell items to them its at a jacked up price!

Just remember to set boundaries ie no face reveal, nothing extreme, and stick to them. Personally i dont like camming not just the paying middle men but i like to be in control and set the rules, thats just me though!

Thing is,once it's out there it's totally out of your control.your private parts, your poses and words will forever be out there.
Think very carefully.

How much commission do you charge?😬

DahliaJ · 30/10/2023 21:03

There was a really interesting tv documentary about cam.girls. Just can't remember the name of the series.

It did show the amount of work involved.

How horrible.

I think no one can say do and no one can say don't. Only you really know, and if any doubts I'd definitely heed the contributors' caution. The job is what it is - taking off your clothes. But also sides to it - and yes I have - that didn't grasp till did; primarily that it's as much about chat as flesh. You're a naked social worker, for men with often no love in their life, but who still want to share their day and report in to someone. The market is saturated but chat's the key. A friendly hello when people come back, a fan club that earns them a crown by their name for joining. A room in cyberspace where they feel special, and fulfil a function in someone's life. Which means giving more of yourself, making it more personal than maybe planned. So you have to be very good at mentally pigeon holing, as living a double life in a sense. And yes they are frustrated, perverted, their brains drained of blood, but essentially it's you corrupting them. You set the fundraising goals and targets, and blush meanwhile. First time strippers command a value higher than Vegas veterans, you don't need to be good at it. The emotions just need to seem real and frequently are. This isn't Princess dress up make believe, there's for most a genuine high to the power that you hold, and bodies respond. Which poses the moral dilemma does having a big orgasm whilst doing make it cheating. Lines get blurred, you allocate time, but emotions seep into one another. And there's no turning back, you can quit but screen captures won't, everyone is recorded at some point, and your image posted or sold. The legal copyright warnings simply don't work, it's a sleazy industry commercially speaking. So is it worth it? Financially the answer is yes, the market is saturated for good reason. And with girls from poorer countries, not the girl next door. You will earn but the price is personal privacy, people will think they know you, and if they do they'll judge. And your partner must support your lifestyle choice. Good luck with!

I don’t think the cam market is saturated. A friend of mine recently joined AW and in her first week she made £800 after fees. She doesn’t expose her lady bits or boobs but does take her top off and is sat in a pretty bra. The main thing with cam is being real and there is a big demand for curvy and plus sized models. It’s mainly what comes out of your mouth rather than clothing that comes off your body. My friend averages out around 600-1k a week.

I did it whilst I was doing my masters. It paid well and I didn’t show my face. I made a killing by selling stockings and Primark pants that I wore whilst camming!
