Urgent anyone know how to pick a lock or are psychic

Ds birthday tomorrow all his presents are inside a cupboard locked. We can't find the key 😪 Anyone know how to pick a lock or know where the key is ? Help

Is it on top of or under the cupboard
when did you hide the presents

In a high place to stop DS finding it?

Credit cards and hair pins always seem to work in the movies?

Pay a locksmith?

If it's just a cupboard door a crowbar or a hammer should sort you out.

You put it on your main keyring so you wouldn't lose it

How old is DS ? Possible he may have found it and slid it down the side of the radiator??? I've lost my keys before and made myself mad looking until I asked my 4 year old DD at the time. They were in her toy box.

Picture of cupboard lock and bedroom lock. Same type. All doors in the house have a lock for some reason 🤔

It’s either in the fruit bowl, or that small dish of crap by your bed.

Don't the doors all share the same keys? Like windows? I'm sure you've already discounted this though 🤗

Have a look on YouTube but picking most locks is way harder than they make it look in films.

All the doors have a different key. We normally keep the key in the kitchen drawer. I last used it last week to put his presents in.

Oooh I helped my friend get into her old bedsit with the same sort of door/lock.

I slid a credit card down the side a few time while turning the handle and jigging the door back and forth.

Couldn't believe it worked!

I found a lost key wedged down the back of the radiator. It had got stuck so would never have dropped through to the floor. Thought that was odd.

Those types of locks normally have a limited number of different keys. Any chance the neighbours have kept their keys and you could try all of theirs?

I put (small) important things in the coins bit in my purse. Is it in there?

It has got pushed to the back of the kitchen drawer then fallen down the back. Check the other drawers then take the drawers out and look underneath.

Your DS has forgotten to put the key back where he found it when searching for his present.
Ask him where he put it.
