Cheaper body wash for Dry Sensitive skin

Hello,

Can you suggest a cheaper body wash for dry and sensitive skin?

I normally like and buy La Roche and cerave BUT somehow I no longer want to spend £20 for a body wash that runs out quickly.

Everything is soo expensive 😭

You can bulk buy Cerave in one litre bottles for about £25 if that is better?

NightOwlNotEarlyBird · 30/04/2023 12:02

Sanex zero%

KimberleyClark · 30/04/2023 12:03

E45 body wash.

BathshebaKnickerStickers · 30/04/2023 12:03

I buy Sanex in Home Bargains

HinCogNeetOh · 30/04/2023 12:09

Switch to bar soap.

Dove soothing care or their hydrating one

DiscoDragon · 30/04/2023 12:16

I really like this body wash from Superdrug https://www.superdrug.com/toiletries/washing-bathing/bubble-bath-soaks/vitamin-e-almond-body-wash-250ml/p/794708

NEmama · 30/04/2023 12:18

Dove or sanex are ok.

TheSandgroper · 30/04/2023 12:28

Moogoo and dove go well for me. I have also been known to split one bottle between two and top up with water.

I still get clean. Those pump bottles are designed to make you use more, not get you clean.

Can you suggest bar soap for sensitive skin?

You could try Holland and Barrett or other health food shops for bar soaps that are free of harsh chemicals and often have moisturising oils included.

I've always had very dry skin. Switched to bar soap and the difference was massive. I use sanex.

Alittlestar · 30/04/2023 13:54

Forgot to add that I have dry, sensitive skin as well and noticed an improvement when I switched to bar soap, it costs less too!

isthismylifenow · 30/04/2023 13:55

I can only use Sanex Zero as a body wash or Dove unscented as a bar soap. (I know it's not actually a soap but we don't need to go there).

During lockdown I could not find the unscented bar for love nor money, but found and used a pure glycerine bar that also worked well.

uncomfortablydumb53 · 30/04/2023 15:40

Sanex Zero is good

ThinWomansBrain · 30/04/2023 15:58

I had a problem with my skin last year and used Oilatum Daily body wash for a bit - it said "junior" on the bottle, but can't see what's different between cleaning an adults and childs skin. Just looked - around £5 for 300ml
You mention you get through it quickly - are you just using too much product?
My GP suggested washing with water alone.

I also used E45 bath oil, but was hard to find.

WGACA · 30/04/2023 17:36

I use bar soap instead too like Olivio.

asparalite · 30/04/2023 17:39

This is very gentle and their body cream is amazing too.

E45 body wash.

This one 👆 I use this, it was on offer in boots recently so I bought a few.

Sunshineandrainbow · 30/04/2023 17:43

Sanex pro hydrate

Icantfindanewname · 30/04/2023 17:47

Bog standard aqueous cream, usually around £1 for 500ml, both myself and daughter use it on recommendation of GP. Doesn't leave any scent, but skin is immeasurably better. Surprisingly, gets sweaty pits following a work out clean and scent free.

Hesma · 30/04/2023 18:21

Aveeno
