Getting married in the summer and I've put on 2 stone!

I need help! My house is a cluttered up mess, my diet is a mess and my bloody life is a mess. I don't want to start my married life overweight and come home to a mess.

We are getting married in June which gives me less than 2 months! Can it be done? Is it possible to lose 2 stone and sort out the house? We are going on a 'honeymoon' (camping with the kids) after the wedding and I really don't want to come home to all this clutter!

I feel like I need another year!

  1. Take your washing (and half-dry washing) to the launderette and get it all done in one go. Have two dryers on the go. Invest three hours and tick that off.
  1. One night a week go through each person's chest of drawers and figure out if you really will wear that item of clothing even if you can fit into it again (story of my life). Bag it up and take it to the charity shop/recycling point.
  1. Be brutal with getting rid of stuff. Organise what you do keep.

Kind regards,

how much do I need to lose? I even put off reading this thread, that's how badly I'm doing.
I'm just sat on the sofa drinking tea and farting.

This made me lol OP* *😂

There are worse passtimes.

What sort of thing motivates you?

I know how hard it is to get out of a rut. I've been there. But it feels so good when you do manage to climb out.

Are you motivated by 'bad' things like sticking horrible pictures of yourself on the fridge, or 'good' things like going upstairs and putting on a bit of make up and doing your hair? Painting nails?

Clean out one drawer in your room?

Maybe chose a time ... where are we ... lets say half 12, when you're going to get up and do an hour of something constructive. To yourself or to the house.

Then be brave and come and tell us if you did it 🤗
