Birthday necklace ideas for 16 yo girl (DS’s GF)

We’re going to help DS choose a lovely gift for his GF.

She will be 16.

Ideas trying to find a lovely silver necklace, with moon and stars, or similar.

Budget possibly between £50-80?

Was initially looking at Swarovski but some of the reviews for a few of the necklaces aren’t great, chain too small, pendants tiny.

Posting here for traffic (sorry).

Is it possible to get something of reasonable quality on our budget? Any recommendations?

Although my DS bought his gf an initial necklace one year and she wears it every day. So might be worth considering.

I got my neice one with her birth flower and name which she loved. It's a bit different as the name is vertical. They probably have other designs too, reasonably priced, and had amazing service:

Bought a couple of beautiful necklaces yesterday at Earnest Jones. It wasn’t planned but was out and saw a perfect chain for myself, been looking for months to go with an old pendant, 18ct mixed with silver for £21. I bought it as a temp option but I’m happy with it, and a silver necklace and pendant as a surprise present for my DD at £30 reduced from £65.

@coffeeiswgatkeepsmesane and @IggyAce i’ve just been looking at the Hot Diamonds site. Have to admit, I’d never heard of them but some of the star necklaces look lovely.

Are they reasonable quality and packaged nicely?

Looking at a couple of the star necklaces and possibly an initial necklace (but no idea if she’d like her initial on a necklace)!

John Garland does lovely silver necklaces. I've got several pieces of jewellery from him and it's lovely quality.

I've had a couple over the years, I think they are good quality. I've had a star pendant for about 15 years and still sometimes wear it!
They used to come in a nice quality white box with the branding on the lid but it's been a few years since I bought from them so not sure now

I did have a Hot Diamonds code WINTER25 but not sure if still valid and also sometimes JEWELS works for free delivery. They come beautifully packaged and great quality. There are always discount codes if you search online.

Would you consider a small trader?

Charlotte Bezzant has beautiful pieces and money doesn't go to big corp. I have bought a number of items (I don't know Charlotte btw).
