To ask wtf was this cereal called?!

I need some early 2000’s knowledge here!

There was a cereal, between 2002-2006, it was squares, kind of like a multigrain style with a honey-ish taste. They came in a yellow box, they weren’t filled squares either just the outline, they had a hole in the middle and definitely weren’t golden grahams.

Its driving me round the bend, I cannot for the life of me remember what they were called

Sounds like cracking oat bran. I’ve asked Kellogg’s loads of times why they have stopped selling them in this country. But they never say why. There have been campaigns online through the years to bring them back. My daughter travels to America a lot and always brings me a couple of boxes back from there.

Does anyone remember Golden Oaties? I bloody loved that stuff. It was quite short-lived unfortunately, but I won a competition on the back of the box. You had to ‘complete the following sentence in ten words or less’ which ALL the competitions seemed to involve in those days.

I’d forgotten I’d even entered until there was a knock at the door one day and the postman handed me a pirate board game. I thought it was the best day of my life, but then my brother won a BMX from a Ready Brek competition and out-did me, the bastard. I still have the board game.
