Mumsnet adverts!!!

Anybody else getting adverts pop up at the top that they can't remove? Genuinely getting that fed up of them i might leave mumsnet altogether

Just use an ad blocker. I don't see any ads at all now, just blank space.

Yeah agree. Plus with the 'sponsored content' appearing all over the place (feels like maybe 20% of threads listed in any given forum?).

I'd accept it all as the price paid for scrolling whilst not logged in but when I actually am logged in it annoys me.

They just asked me to book a hotel I've already booked for September lol its not so much the ad it's more not being able to remove it

I second using an Ad Blocker - I been using 'AdBlock' for years, it's really simple to use. There are a few sites which won't let you use them unless you allow the adverts, in which case you just click on the AdBlock symbol and give the site permission to show adverts either just this once, or every time you visit it.

It’s making the site unusable at the mo - I have a thread running in style which has also been picked up and used as an Ad. I don’t want to go back on it and bump it further, thus defeating the whole object of using the site. I’ve been here about 12 years, I promise I don’t usually moan, but this is ridiculous at the mo!

I just get mums net voices ads. I don't ever look at them. I don't really understand the issue...
