Yahoo needs to fuck off and die

How the hell do you get Yahoo off your computer? Every google search is reverting to stupid useless Yahoo again. It isn't in my settings as a search engine, google is my default. It isn't downloaded as an extension. Clean up hasn't got rid of it

I didn't know it was possible to hate a search engine so much. Every time this happens my computer search becomes unusable until I manage to get rid of it, which takes hours, and I have never found the same trick works twice.

Any suggestions? I am desperate to get rid of this Yahoo malware for once and for all

You need to uncheck the box to disable the Secure Search function (see pic). Personally I'd be removing it altogether - it's doing the very thing it's supposed to prevent (altering your system in an unsatisfactory way).

Can't help unfortunately but can just say I relate so much!!! The exact same thing happened to me, and still happens, I googled absolutely everything and did everything and nothing worked. I hate Yahoo with a passion, that loading thing it does before popping up the search results annoys me.

I just created an alternate Chrome profile and it works - no Yahoo. But the chrome profile with my actual email is still an absolute pain. I'm guessing it may have been a problem with my email or account then?? But not too sure, either way using the alternate Chrome profile still works fine.

Create a new email and persona. Use a vpn.then don't click your Vermont and stick withe breitbart, epoch times and zreohedge. Investigate all accordingly to get closer to the truth as msm is the old Pravda of the ussr
