To try for Eurovision tickets

We're saving really hard for a house at the moment so treats are few and far between. However I have always loved Eurovision, I have such lovely memories of watching as a child. This year its in the UK and very near me. AIBU to just bite the bullet and try and get tickets. It really feels like once in a lifetime for me but it is expensive

No luck here, 4 devices trying. Oh well! We have booked for the screening at the Tate next door instead - a chair, food and booze for £70. Bargain!

I’ve just booked the train and taxis! Used to live in Liverpool so can imagine how crackers it will all be!

Oh god yes must book a train. I would really rather not drive. DD was a student in Liverpool so she assures me we can walk from Lime Street to the Arena in 20 minutes.

Yes it’s easy enough to find and plenty to eat etc on the way!

What does one wear to Eurovision??

I’m intrigued to know this too! I somehow managed to get the hospitality tickets for the Friday night final. So so over the moon as I’ve wanted to go ever since I was a little girl and I used to watch it with my dad!

I was thinking I depends on the weather a bit but my first choice will probably be smart trainers with a maxi/midi dress and jacket.

Sequins, rainbows, flags, and accessories of your favourite act. Quite a lot of people were wearing bananas last year.

I heard on the radio that thousands of these tickets went to touts via software that queue-jumps. Majority of people had no chance.

Apparently you can join these "circles" by paying £100 a month, use their software and then make a living out of fleecing fans. Disgusting.

Maxi dress and trainers is a good shout!

I got tickets for the Saturday night final, and I've no idea how!

I pressed on the button at one second past midday and got straight through. No queue or anything. I was using the app.

Did you see those sequin co-ords with the wide leg trousers that M&S were selling at Christmas. Some thing like that would be perfect with white trainers

Im going in the VIP lounge backstage so no idea if I should really Eurovision it up with sequins etc or smarten it up! 😍

They have very strict bag policies though! Maybe a teeny sequin clutch!!

Me and a friend got standing for the Saturday preview show at 1pm - v excited - going to meet up to see it on the big screens and back to a friends eurovision party afterwards - very chuffed

Oh yes! We have tickets for the Monday preview and with a bank holiday to boot it should be a lot of fun!

Was gutted not to get any tickets. Would loved to have gone. Was hoping for some semi final dress rehearsal tickets, was amazed how they all sold so quickly!
I live near Liverpool so would have been ideal. I did pop in this week and Liverpool one area was looking great with Eurovision displays and music playing.

We are going on the Thursday afternoon for the preview show of the second semi. So looking forward to it. My first two outfit choices were vetoed by DD but she has approved the latest choice 😄

My daughter is 16m so has no say on what i wear and won't be attending anyway🤣.

I'm wearing a dress covered in sequins, with a jacket...also covered in sequins and i have a hat ..also covered in sequins 🤣. We're catching the train there (Monday preview so before strike action) and my poor husband is picking us up after🤣
