A "split level" bungalow isn't a bungalow?

It's priced like a bungalow, I.e. expensive and the pictures show a strange mezzanine dining area, which I assumed was the "split level" element, but all three bedrooms and the only loo are.in the basement. No picture of the stairs either.

Surely that just means you'll get loads of time wasters when they discover it's not at all what they're looking for?

Don't know why but I've always loved split level.

I mean it’s not a house as it doesn’t have an actually upstairs and downstairs so to speak

Eh? Since when does a house have to have an upstairs and downstairs to be a house?

It’s hideous

So true! When will people realise that frigate grey throughout isn't a good look, I immediately ignore the 'newly renovated' listings, it's almost always frigate grey.

Yanbu. Gross plastic "grass" in garden too.

If you look at the virtual tour floorplan you can see that it's not even as though the rooms are on top of one another - it's more or less all on one floor, just with some changes of level.

In Devin split level bungalows are very common due to the hills.

Or else they're accessed via practically an Everest's worth of external steps. (Teignmouth, I'm looking at you.)

As it is sold etc I presume someone really liked it.
