To think Ben Fogle is just so lovely?

Don’t normally start threads like this and am cringing slightly 😳

I’ve watched new lives in the wild as well as various other things he’s done for years and years now and he always just comes across as so lovely. Just watched last night’s new lives in tbe wild with the old lady in Australia, yet again he took her ‘quirks’ in good humour and managed to connect with her.

I dunno, I just can’t think of many ‘celebrities’ that come across as personable as him.

He’s not bad looking either I guess 😬

And no, this isn’t Ben, his wife or his mother 😂

YANBU, I really like him, he has a really nice manner with people. I also follow his very beautiful wife on Insta, I love her home decor!

Also I think too many celebrities now have a kind of harsh ‘streetwise’ attitude to them, Bens quite posh but he doesn’t play it down nor does he look down on others if you know what I mean.

I like him but the 'I will ask a question on camera that I know the answer too already and the viewers would too' annoys me

Same with Gregg Wallace, i am sure they are told too by the production team but it comes across annoyingly

But as a person he seems really nice

I met him briefly in a work capacity and was disappointed. He was very disinterested and disengaged but that was just a few hours on one day and he might have been having a bad day so you can’t really make a judge of character based on that. I like how he comes across on Instagram and still follow him. He seems like a nice person.

I meet him on a beach in Cape Town, he walk past me and I said o hi Ben what you doing here, he stop and said I’m off to the ANTARCTIC, very nice I said is that why the sea is so cold here at camps bay. I had not released. Got my photo taken with him and said good luck on your expedition. As he left my husband said who’s that then he had never heard of him.

but very polite and nice.
