Virus doing the rounds

I've felt terrible for just over a week. Throat soooo sore, achy, swollen neck glands etc. Anyone else had it and how long does it last? It's vile!

Just starting my third week today. I have managed to leave the house, briefly, but a very long way from feeling anything approaching normal. Throat and glands are by far the worst with a hideous cough when I lay down or move. Sinuses aren’t great but I have had worse congestion. Really fed up with it now – what a horrible start to the year
