I haven’t hidden it because I don’t care either way but you’ve acknowledged that people don’t care about the royal family and have made an active effort to avoid that topic - so why force them to view it like this?

I have it hidden and it's annoying when things appear in active that I've taken steps to avoid, yes. I presume that is the subtext of your question.

I was actually just thinking recently I'd like a button alongside every thread in Active view to quickly hide based on the title alone – I resent extra clicks to open a thread just to hide it.
