I haven’t hid it. 99% of the threads I see about them are on AIBU. It’s pretty illogical to start a thread to moan about how much one doesn’t care for them or sick of hearing about them when you could just ignore it and not click. Still hear very little about them in my life outside of SM and definitely not to the extent of being sick of hearing of them.

b) I only ever look at Active discussions, don't go on specific boards.

It's best to hide anything that doesn't interest you then it doesn't fill active up with stuff you are not interested in

I don't open any of the threads, but I don't hide it - the thread titles give me a vague idea about what shenanigans are going on. A bit like skimming newspaper headlines.

I have it hidden but AIBU is full of threads about H&M so there’s no point really.
And they don’t always give a clue to content in the title.
