Bored of hearing about Harry

Shiningstarr · 05/01/2023 07:47

Omg... I know it's because he's brought this book out, but anyone else just bored of seeing article after article about Harry?? Do people really care? Ive nothing against Harry or Meghan, I'm just not interested, simple as that.

What is it he actually wants from this?? I thought he didn't want to be in the limelight but he's in it more than ever now.

OP posts:
StrictlyAFemaleFemale · 05/01/2023 07:52

I think he wants some income is the short answer, and although you're not interested in him, a lot of other people are.

EddietheEagle · 05/01/2023 07:53

Are they? Wow. Fair enough. Well they have plenty to read about.

AFS1 · 05/01/2023 07:53

I was saying exactly the same thing to
my partner yesterday. I get that they want to
get their side of the story across, but surely they’ve done that now!

rwalker · 05/01/2023 07:53

Bored but ashamedly following

can’t get over breathtaking contradictions

we don’t want publicity
I want my family back

he’s busting his balls to do the extreme opposite

caraway33 · 05/01/2023 07:56

”bored of hearing about harry” so here i’m making a thread about it.

LadyHarmby · 05/01/2023 07:59

Why do people keep banging on about how they wanted privacy? They never said that, they said they wanted to continue with some kind of public role, just not as senior members of the royal family.

VivienneDelacroix · 05/01/2023 08:01

You're so bored of him, you've started a discussion about him. Seems rational behaviour.

MorrisZapp · 05/01/2023 08:01

The radio currently reporting that in his book he says William and Kate encouraged him to dress up as a nazi and laughed their heads off.

William and Kate can never answer this can they? They're going to be king and queen.

It's deeply unedifying.

LetsDoThis2023 · 05/01/2023 08:01

So you started another thread about him....

SavoirFlair · 05/01/2023 08:01

You’re so “bored” (ugh) of hearing about Harry, @Shiningstarr , that you sat down and started a whole thread. And if you’re “hearing” about him, that means you’re clicking on news articles about him, which means you’re not bored yet, you’re just saturated. you still clicked. That’s you.

What is it he actually wants from this??

Publicity and news coverage, of the kind you’re giving him here.

That then drives book sales, so he gets money, money that makes him feel better about striking out against his family publicly.

WhenIAmOldIShallWearPurple · 05/01/2023 08:03

So bored you made a post about it, that you will presumably read the responses to and thus here more about Harry? Interesting approach 🤔

I just heard on the radio about him and William physically fighting.

DrManhattan · 05/01/2023 08:04

Yawnfest

MassiveSalad22 · 05/01/2023 08:07

What articles? You’re presumably frequenting places that run articles on him. That’s optional. I haven’t seen anything about H&M other than on mumsnet.

EddietheEagle · 05/01/2023 08:09

I'm fed up with seeing articles about him, so I'm making a thread about it.

Is that a difficult concept? It seemed straightforward to rm?

Hoardasurass · 05/01/2023 08:10

Does anyone actually believe 1 word that comes out of either of their mouths. We are supposed to feel sorry for them instead of calling them out for their crybullying. I mean a former soldier claiming to have been scared because his brother shouted at him (according to his Netflix bs) and we are supposed to believe him ffs

RhymeHasAReason · 05/01/2023 08:12

Thank goodness you started another thread to help get away from the topic then. And in the most busy part of mumsnet too. 😂

No problem.

SheWoreYellow · 05/01/2023 08:14

There is a Royal family topic that you could have posted in, so that people who are really bored of it can avoid it.

Under a different name?

SalviaOfficinalis · 05/01/2023 08:15

Oh my gosh yes, it’s so boring I just can’t stop talking about it.

MorrisZapp · 05/01/2023 08:16

It's all getting a bit meta now! The thread filling up with people pointing out that the OP is driving engagement.

But isn't doing that engagement too?

head explodes

julz87 · 05/01/2023 08:32

I'm disgusted he brought up a fight he had with William, again as if everyone else is in the wrong and he's just astounded how anyone can treat him and his wife so badly...!?

Brothers have scraps, especially young men. Harry has turned into some kind of pathetic money grabbing idiot!

EnyoClytemnestra · 05/01/2023 08:34

GMB have labelled this scrap as breaking news. FFS, this country - indeed, the world, is imploding and the presenters are being all Cissy and Ada about it.

@Shiningstarr
@EddietheEagle

Are you posting under two different usernames? Confused
