...TikTok advert that keeps appearing on my phone? Seriously it is freaking me out! It has a woman with scary eyes - sadly my phone won't let me post a screenshot but it's probably on your page right now! Help! PS this is lighthearted but I really don't want to look at that advert for some reason!

Just block the advert by updating your GDN preferences from the ad itself.

Really not difficult.

OP, MN can and have in the past taken steps when there is dubious ad content showing, so they can exercise some control by blacklisting ads, but I think you might have to live with this one I keep seeing it too though and thinking it's v weird.

You can install an Ad blocker app on your phone. I also browse using DuckDuckGo which is a privacy browser.

Haven't seen that one, but on YouTube there's an advert for apples of all things where people bite into them and go all exaggerated cartoony.... for no rational reason at all it freaks me out and I'm a Goth in my 50s 🤣

Adblockers are ace, give one a try. I never used to bother, but the type and size of ads just got too intrusive.

Haha I'm glad you shared that! It makes me feel less pathetic for not liking that ad! It's odd what can creep you out. Traditional horror doesn't bother me at all - but that kind of thing definitely does!
