...TikTok advert that keeps appearing on my phone?
Seriously it is freaking me out!

It has a woman with scary eyes - sadly my phone won't let me post a screenshot but it's probably on your page right now!

Help!

PS this is lighthearted but I really don't want to look at that advert for some reason!

@42isthemeaning

No worries!

In fact my adult son and I both share a weird primordial discomfort at distorted faces.... he mentioned it in his teens and I was 😳 because I've always tried not to transfer irrational fears to him when he was a child.

I remember the first time I saw a clip of the Exorcist onTV in my late teens and pre-remote in my house - I actually approached the TV with my back to it to change channels!

I am not bothered by scars or disfigurement or anything like that, it really is distortion and expression that gives me the heebie jeebies....

As I say I'm a Goth and love most supernatural / horror related things, but occasionally something just gives me the absolute chills ....

You are not alone !!

@BrookieButter is just pissed off after being told she is talking absolute bollocks on the cocaine thread. Head over look at the bollocks she believes. It's hilarious.

Ah, thank you. Makes sense now.

MistressoftheDarkSide · 24/12/2022 14:43

Since I commented on this thread, every single other thread I have opened includes the ad the OP was asking about.

Bloody algorithms.

And merry Christmas 🎄

It will work on Mn, as this is a GDN ad, it’s hosted by Mn not run by MN. Just clicking the blue icons at the bottom will give the OP the option to select the ad as not relevant and they won’t be served it again.

Christ the low levels of computer literacy on here are something else.

Are you a man? Because you're doing some splendid mansplaining.

LLFoolJ · 24/12/2022 15:01

I have selected this ad as 'not relevant' many, many times but still she keeps coming back. I even tried some of the other options but Mumsnet (or whoever it is) is determined that I see that woman every time I log in.

42isthemeaning · 24/12/2022 16:06

She is the ghost of Christmas present!
I'm sorry she's now appearing on your threads.

Merry Christmas everyone! Xmas Grin

Your SPaG is quite something else too.

What is your point? 🤔
