To ask my friend to stop sending me pics of nude women

My best friend is a man a few years younger than me. He’s a lovely person but he likes to chat about girls he fancies and often sends me pictures of models / actresses he likes, sometimes in their underwear or naked. He’s also told me about some of his fantasies about these girls before which frankly I don’t feel I need to hear! To me sharing this stuff with a member of the opposite sex feels like kind of a flirty thing to do and I know for sure that’s not his intention, so I think he ought to save it for his male friends. AIBU to tell him it makes me uncomfortable?

He is a creep, not your best friend

Testina · 15/12/2022 17:49

Well, hopefully the male friends he saved it for would have more backbone and tell him to stop. I don’t understand why you haven’t?

HDready · 15/12/2022 17:49

He really doesn’t sound like a lovely person. He sounds like a creep.

You would never be unreasonable to tell a creepy man to stop being creepy. Has this behaviour just started recently? Do you want to keep being friends with him?

caramac04 · 15/12/2022 17:51

That’s horrible.

Underanothersky · 15/12/2022 17:54

He's not your best friend he just wants to fuck you.

TheShellBeach · 15/12/2022 17:58

Just tell him to stop. If he's a good friend he will.

That's not a serious question is it?

If you're really friends, you should've told him to pack it in long ago.

Igglepiggleslittletoe · 15/12/2022 18:01

Flirty? Honey you need to look up romance. Sending you pervy pics of other women is downright revolting. He is not your friend. Creep.

UWhatNow · 15/12/2022 18:02

He’s supposedly a friend but you’re ok with his objectification of women and his blatant immaturity?

Chickychoccyegg · 15/12/2022 18:03

Your unreasonable for 1. Not telling him straight away , and 2. Questioning if it's unreasonable to tell him.
He sounds a right creep.

GabriellaMontez · 15/12/2022 18:04

He's disgusting

LIZS · 15/12/2022 18:05

Yuk is he a teenager? Why do you continue to engage with him?

EndlessRain1 · 15/12/2022 18:05

That's creep and not "best friend" behaviour.

MolesOnPoles · 15/12/2022 18:05

Bet you he knows it makes you uncomfortable, and he enjoys that.

RosaGallica · 15/12/2022 18:05

I would assume it was intimidating behaviour. Not pleasant at all.

AgentJohnson · 15/12/2022 18:09

You need to raise your ‘best friend’ threshold because this man is just a creepy twat

2bazookas · 15/12/2022 18:09

That's not flirting, its a form of coercive abuse. He is deliberately offending you for kicks. He probably boasts to his male friends about your embarrassed reaction and they all get off on it.

Tell the creep where to go.

AlwaysGinPlease · 15/12/2022 18:10

Er he's not your friend. Bin!
