I think I looked great in my 20’s, however i am 32 now and never felt so comfortable, I don’t seem to give a crap what anybody thinks. I was so insecure in my 20’s which is such a bloody shame.

Probably now - aged 43. I feel confident and happy in this body.

Comedycook · 27/11/2022 19:21

23-28

It's been downhill ever since

Stressedmum2017 · 27/11/2022 19:21

I had a massive glow up and peaked during lock down, when no one saw me. Absolutely typical for my life.

Squirrelvillage · 27/11/2022 19:23

Now, 35. Feel my best which I think means I look my best. Have time and motivation to exercise and supply myself with nutritious food. This summer I finally reached the point of recovery from my 2020 lockdown bloat!

Wibbly1008 · 27/11/2022 19:23

In my early 30s I felt amazing and I looked great, but I was not happy in my personal life. Now I’m in my 40s, married with young kids and I feel like a dowdy blob, but I’m happier with my personal life and I love my husband dearly. Mad how it all works out!

SlashBeef · 27/11/2022 19:25

Feeling pretty good about myself now at 32 after feeling like absolute shite for most of my 20s.

Lkydfju · 27/11/2022 19:26

Looking back I looked my best in my mid 20s but was self conscious whereas now in my 30s I’m much happier in my body like you’ve said

PolicecarOnAToe · 27/11/2022 19:28

I have just turned 34. For the past 3 or 4 years I have felt so much more comfortable in my own skin, care less about what anyone else thinks of me/how I look, so I would say now. I don’t look as young as I did in my 20’s (obviously) but my skin is ok, I’m happy with my figure etc and have more time to exercise now dcs are more independent. It’s nice to feel like this as I was so anxious and paranoid about how I looked when I was younger. Seems silly now.

Afterfire · 27/11/2022 19:29

I felt sexiest around 28ish. I was slim, had lots of confidence and energy. I was single after a horrible marriage and lots of men were interested in me. And yeah that’s shallow and whatever but I’m being honest.

I am now mid 40s and my body has gone to shit. I’m 4 stone overweight, over eating and autoimmune issues. I don’t really like what I see physically but I’m quite content in my life otherwise so I’ll take it. Definitely don’t feel sexy or pretty though. More like a sturdy work horse 😳😆

Northernsoullover · 27/11/2022 19:30

I'm 50 and feel absolutely fabulous about myself. I dress better than I ever did. I just feel really confident. Do I look 50 ? Yes. I don't care. I'm happier with myself than I have ever been.

Incrediblebuttrue · 27/11/2022 19:30

Probably now at almost 50. I've had my hair cut short and have stopped wearing make up during the day. I feel great.

NameIsBryceQuinlan · 27/11/2022 19:33

I'm early 30s and happy. I have a soft tummy from having a baby and lots of stretch marks (despite copious pilates, grr) but facially I'm happiest. I know my skincare, I'm comfortable in my face. Happy ☺️

PocketRocket12 · 27/11/2022 19:48

At the moment probably 27-30 was peak for me. I’m 33 now with a toddler that does not sleep and it has shocked me how much my body and face has changed after having a baby (I just look so tired. All. The. Time.)

HalfLass · 27/11/2022 19:53

29 - 31. I was single after the end of a long-term relationship, in a job I loved and just seemed to be attracting a lot of male attention. I actually met my husband during this period.

Having said that, I'm now 50 and feeling happier, more content and more truly comfortable in my own skin than ever before. I find it really easy now to be upfront about what's important to me and to not give a f**k about everything else.

Coffeeisnecessary · 27/11/2022 19:54

I think I looked best around 35, but I feel better in early 40s, even though the sag is real in my face, I just don't care as much!!

Burgoo · 27/11/2022 19:56

I looked my best 23-26 - I have a body like a beaten-up pumpkin now.
That said, I am prob more comfortable now.
Growing up in the gay scene does that to you. At least from my experience.

Snipples · 27/11/2022 19:58

Weirdly I felt amazing just after I'd given birth both times. I had HG when pregnant so was nice and skinny and then packed it on after Mat leave both times. I am not in as good shape now but spend more on clothes and hair and that helps me feel more confident when out and about (or when I can be arsed to make an effort).

biggerbetterfasterstronger · 27/11/2022 20:00

In my twenty’s, fit did the gym, running etc
now mid thirties and don’t care how I look now, far more comfortable in myself/ my body still keep fit but on a healthier level

caringcarer · 27/11/2022 20:00

Late teens to late twenties. I look at photos and can't believe how good I look. Strangely I don't recall feeling that good at the time though.

Davros · 27/11/2022 20:03

Around 30

Unicorn1919 · 27/11/2022 20:03

Probably in my late 20s or early 30s when I had money to spend on clothing and went to the office in heels. It all went downhill very quickly after 40!

WhatIsThisPlease · 27/11/2022 20:05

Mid 20s to late 30s.

48 now and look saggy and old 😭

dizzydizzydizzy · 27/11/2022 20:14

About 42-45, very fit and slim then.

Chickenvoicesinmyhead · 27/11/2022 20:17

Early 30's. Super fit, super healthy. Felt like I could conquer the world.

Stroopwaffle5000 · 27/11/2022 20:24

38/39. I had an almost perfect bikini body, my skin was finally clear (thanks to accutane) hair was the perfect colour and healthy and I'd learnt how to apply my makeup well. Then lockdown hit and I just haven't got the motivation to get back on track with the gym/healthy eating.
