I was added into a group chat for an ex-colleague's leaving do which was last week. I haven't spoken to this colleague since she stopped working with me which was 6+ months ago, so was surprised to be initially invited to the leaving do and added to these chats. I don't dislike her, but we have nothing in common and I find her overbearing.
No one really posted in the chat since last week aside for a few well wishes for her new job as the leaving do is over. I sent my well wishes and left the chat. Now the person who's leaving do it was has private messaging me asking "if I'm feeling okay" as apparently I "keep leaving the chat".
Aibu to have left the chat? I hate having unnecessary group chats clogging my phone as it makes me less likely to reply to the people I do want to talk to. It's not a chat I want to keep up with and feel like I've made a faux pas if I don't reply instantly.
