Hello

I am having a nightmare with my hair, I'm pregnant and it's changed so much.

It's thick and wavy but used to be able to straighten it and it felt soft and looked shiny. I used to only wash it twice a week.

Since about 8 weeks pregnant, it's so greasy all of the time and when I wash it and dry it, it feels heavy and like there is a film on top of it that makes it feel damp constantly. It looks so dull. I'm seeing my hairdresser in 4 weeks. I can't afford any pricey items at the moment as payday is next week and as I'm washing it so often now, I'd rather use something I'm able to grab from a supermarket or boots.

Thank you!

I use the L'Oréal Professional range as recommended by my hairdresser usually, I alternate every couple of months with Tigi Bedhead but I can't justify the prices at the minute and I've run out of both.

I've been off sick and in hospital with this pregnancy so I've lost some wages this month and need an alternative option.

Thanks for all of your recommendations, I've got a tub of the banana hair food conditioner in the bathroom cupboard I think I used it once or twice at the beginning of the year but I forgot I had it since I put it away.

I've been using herbal essences which made my hair feel awful when I've used it before it's felt lovely and smelt nice but for some reason it's now not agreeing with my hair. Same with Aussie.

What a delightful time pregnancy is 😂 greasy hair, spotty skin 😅

@Parney it's awful isn't it! I used to have lovely shiny, bouncy, thick hair. Washed twice a week, absolutely fine. Now its stuck to my scalp and forehead if I don't wash it every other day and like you said, it's so heavy and dull at the roots 😭
