My theory is that she stated that she would be leading the party into a general election because they have weighed up all the options and that is the only way out and it will be on it's way pretty soon. I'm not exactly looking forward to a Labour government under Starmer. The shadow chancellor seemed awfully happy about something on PMQs today. I'm not sure we are going to find any more sympathy/empathy but at least it will make a change.
